Sounds like perfect escapism to me. Honestly? I think I need more of that kind of over-the-top goodness when it feels like the world is falling apart. I might not make candles, but maybe I’ll bring biccies or something for a friend who’s having surgery soon. If we all tried to be kind and spread love to our neighbours and friends, the world would be better. Even if those biccies are store-bought.

This is EXACTLY what it was for me “perfect escapism “ in a world that’s full of hatred and violence It was refreshing to watch ..

I thought I would hate it and the lack of depth/ what is the point of this. but surprisingly found it very relaxing and pretty and a nice antidote to the news and stress of the world haha

Heh I love this take. I watched the first ep and it

definitely doesn’t ask hard-hitting questions. It’s banal background pleasantry and I oddly sorta like it. No drama.

I love her. I really do. I’m happy that Harry and the children are happy and living a lovely life. They were SO right to escape the appalling bullshit. I mean every single word. But…

This programme is genuinely terrible. I watched two and it physically hurt. It was a terrible decision and someone should have said something.

She’s extremely bright and clearly very talented. I want her to do something splendid. This isn’t it.

Yes, I loved the calmness of it but you’re right, Meghan could do more than this. She is bright and talented.

I read something interesting today: essentially, why does anyone *care* what the programme is like? Why did the Guardian - THE GUARDIAN - have umpteen thinkpieces and reviews? (The Mail, I understand. It’s their vile bread and butter. But the Graun, I ask you?)

And this is absolutely correct. Why do we care?

I think my niggle is simply that it’s so… nothingy. It upsets me that she feels she has to tread carefully. I want her to be properly outspoken and fierce, tackling big, difficult subjects in depth. She can do this.

There’s no going back. They’ll never be accepted back into the fold. For good or ill, that ship has sailed. They are free. She is free. Do something with it. She really should.

But if they’re really your friend, you would know if they had food allergies, seasonal allergies, or gluten intolerance. Right? No?

I have absolutely no intention of watching this show because I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction but if you wish to do a recap of every episode, I am here for it, loved reading that!
